L'objectif de mes recherches est d'étudier les effets cancérigènes ou anti-cancérigènes de certains médicaments. Je suis passionnée par la pharmaco-épidémiologie, qui permet de mieux connaître un médicament et de suivre son impact sur la santé publique. En effet, quand un médicament est mis sur le marché, tous ses effets thérapeutiques et indésirables ne sont pas connus. Mon travail est d’approfondir et d’étudier cela.

Actuellement, je suis postdoctorante à l’Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale (INSERM). J'ai développé un goût pour la santé et la recherche lors de mes stages réalisés dans le cadre de mon cursus scolaire, particulièrement mes stages en pharmacovigilance.

En me penchant les médicaments, leurs effets indésirables et leur devenir dans l'environnement, j’ai ouvert les yeux sur l'importance de la protection et du bien-être des populations. J’ai ainsi obtenu deux masters en santé publique, un spécialisé sur les risques environnementaux et l’autre sur la nutrition humaine.

Mon intérêt pour l’épidémiologie et les médicaments m’a poussé, en Novembre 2017, à réaliser une thèse en épidémiologie au Centre International de Recherche sur le Cancer de l'Organisation Mondiale de la Santé (après obtention d’une allocation doctorale de la Ligue Nationale Contre le Cancer).  

Aujourd’hui, je suis aussi engagée dans la communication et promotion de la prévention du cancer auprès des jeunes, en tant que membre active de l’Association Européenne des Ligues contre le Cancer. 

 The objective of my research is to study the carcinogenic or anti-carcinogenic properties of drugs. I am passionate about pharmacoepidemiology, which allows us to better understand a drug and to follow its impact on public health. Indeed, when a drug is put on the market, all its therapeutic and undesirable effects are not known. 

Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM). I developed a taste for health and research during my internships in school, especially my internships in pharmacovigilance.

Discovering the various side-effects of drugs, their fate in the environment, and the importance of their appropriate use awakened my interest in working towards protecting and improving the population’s health and welfare. Then, I obtained two masters degrees in public health, one specialized in environmental risks and the other in human nutrition.

In November 2017, I won a competitive grant from the French League Against Cancer to start a PhD in epidemiology at the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer.

Today, I am also involved in communication and promotion of cancer prevention among young people, as an active member of the European Association of Leagues Against Cancer.
