I am involved in several projects on Respiratory health epidemiology, with specific focus on asthma and COPD. My current research interests first relate to the effect of hormonal factors/ sex hormones and obesity on respiratory symptoms and lung function. I, however, have been working on several other topics related to asthma and lung function, including ageing with specific focus on telomeres, allergic and non-allergic rhinitis, and most recently environmental microbial exposure, with projects and expertise on indoor and outdoor exposure to molds, and also considering bacterial exposure. As the scientific PI for the French part of the European Community Respiratory Health Survey (ECRHS), I am involved in several international projects and benefit from a network of collaborations in Europe and Australia. Some of my projects are also based on the analysis of respiratory health outcomes collected in French cohorts, including E3N, EGEA, CONSTANCES and ELFE.
