Clinical Epidemiology - Kidney, cardiovascular and HIV diseases
Our team conducts research focused on the epidemiology and evaluation of prevention and treatment strategies applied to kidney and cardiovascular diseases, HIV infection, and chronic diseases in youth with the aim of reducing their impact on life expectancy, quality of life and health resources. Our work is based on data from population surveys, clinical cohorts and clinical trials operated by the team, and from the national health data system, and uses the most recent statistical methods.
