Developmental psychiatry
Our research activities focus on the epidemiology of and clinical research into the mental disorders of children and adolescents and their transition towards adulthood The work conducted by our team has as its principal scientific objective a better understanding of the clinical heterogeneity of neurodevelopmental disorders, their biopsychosocial determinants, and the underlying mechanisms associated with the phenotypic heterogeneity of disorders according to time. Our team's ultimate objective is to promote multidisciplinary health research into neurodevelopmental disorders and childhood mental disorders to obtain data-based evidence to guide health decisions and choices of treatment strategies in real (ecological) situations and thereby to improve the health and community integration of people with disabilities.
